What does an INLOCĪS plan include?
Every plan includes unlimited non-urgent messages to your care team by text and email, plus one non-urgent video visit with a physician. What is a Medical Threat Assessment?
A medical threat assessment is a process where our team analyzes your personal health profile, your destination and activities and then provides a holistic report and plan to reduce risk from environmental, infectious, and injury patterns.
How fast will I hear back?
Non-urgent messages and video visit requests are answered within 3–24 hours, every day. If you need round-the-clock access, ask about our concierge options.
What counts as an episode or encounter?
Your base plan includes one physician video visit. If you need additional encounters during your trip, you can add them for $40 each when purchased in advance, or $50 on demand. The Kodiak bundle includes two encounters and lets you add more (up to four total) at $40 each.
Can I extend my coverage mid-trip?
Yes. Standard plans extend for $30 per additional day for days 15 through 30. The Kodiak bundle extends at $25 per day up to 21 days.

Is this a substitute for emergency care?
No. INLOCĪS provides non-urgent medical support and guidance; it is not an emergency service and does not provide real-time emergency care. In a life-threatening emergency, call your local emergency number or activate your emergency or evacuation plan immediately.
What belongs in an international travel medicine kit?
Three layers of capability: everyday symptom relief (the OTCFK), wound and injury care (Minor Incident and Thermal Injury kits), and destination-specific items a physician recommends for the region: water treatment, insect protection, and a plan for prescription medication (EPFK, EPFK-L). A pre-travel physician review ties the list to your itinerary and health history.
What in a travel medicine kit needs a prescription?
Some categories require a licensed prescriber's evaluation: travelers' diarrhea antibiotics, altitude-sickness prophylaxis, and antimalarials among them. Our prescription field kits will be available 10/1/2026. Pair with an INLOCĪS service package for physician oversight of your trip.
What does a pre-travel physician review cover?
Your health profile is reviewed along with the details of your trip. This ensures your care team knows your environmental risks and regional infectious-disease patterns when you message them. INLOCĪS is preparation and guidance, not emergency care and not a substitute for your primary physician.
